I can't believe you don't shut up
I'd really like to know where the expression "Good on you!" sprang from in the last five years. Last time I checked, the normal turn of phrase was "Good for you!" Now, it's "Good ON ya!" in a half-sarcastic-sounding tone, and it drives me up the wall. I wonder if it's derived from "Looks good on you", with which I have no specific beef.
