According to this article, the operators of Canadian Radio Shack stores may have to change their names at the end of June. Who are the operators, you ask? Why, Circuit City!!! Didn't you know??
You know, it's bad enough to get preached at in television public service announcements (remember the drunk driving spot that ended, "Better to be preached at than preached over"?) ... but the commercials for these guys really take the cake. They actually try to shame you into taking your car there. If you've never seen the spots, their site will give you the gist of them.
The pop-ups came back... so this time, TagBoard's getting the boot. Who needs it anyway? Huh?

I apologize for the popups that have suddenly been, well, popping up. I'm not sure who the culprit is (it shouldn't be my web host)... but just for fun, I've replaced the GoStats counter with a BraveNet one. If the popups go bye-bye, then GoStats is GoneStats.


For many years, the Choice Hotels group had a neat matrix with the logos of all its different chains. Each of the four main brands had a similar logo. Then, they started mucking around with them. Finally, the last holdout has cracked. Comfort Inn, the flagship brand, has a new logo. (Actually, I lied: Clarion still has its original logo. But how often do you see one of those?
The Fox series Arrested Development may not be long for this world, but if you missed tonight's episode, hopefully it'll get rerun so you can see the celebrity cameo that made it worthwhile.
It's been a while... the last post I tried to make, the Blogger software coughed and sputtered and generally behaved like an ass. Anyhoo, just to remind you of what this blog's all about,
